Birding with Ranger Mark!
July 20 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am
Spring is a great time to experience the birds who are returning to Palo Duro Canyon. Join park staff and volunteers on this fun walk as we search for some of the flying residents of the park.
Prepare: Dress for the weather, wear hiking shoes, and bring your binoculars and bird guides if you have them. Some binoculars will be available to borrow as well as bird checklists. Binoculars and guides are helpful, but definitely not required.
Meet: At the Soapberry Day Use Area, located just after the first water crossing on the floor of the canyon.
Fees: Regular park entrance fees ($8 per adult, kids 12 and under are free)
